2020 National Conference
The UNA NZ 2020 National Conference is being hosted virtually due to COVID19. It is the 75th year of the UN so the conference will focus on looking back and forward. Reflecting on 75 years of the UN with a focus on the security council and looking to the future of the UN.

The world’s nations have participated in major summits at important points throughout history — whether to discuss war and peace or various aspects of international cooperation and development. In the twentieth and twenty-first centuries such summits have become increasingly global in scope, and the United Nations Organization has played a leading role in cultivating the “global summitry.”
