Overview

This volunteer description describes the duties of the Communications Officer (for social media) of UNANZ. In simple terms, this role is to work alongside other National Executive members to manage, create and post content for social media channels, namely Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. 

The Social Media Officer for UNA NZ, a non-profit organisation, plays a critical role in fostering communication, awareness and engagement with our work. This allows us to further our purpose by promoting education about the UN and engagement with our events and projects. The person taking on this role will have to support the completion of our communications plan, be confident in learning our brand voice quickly as well as developing the role and duties as they see fit.
